FISD Superintendent
Mr. Roher graduated from Barclay College in 1991 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education. He received his Master of Science in Education Administration from Fort Hays State University in 1995. He is also a member of the 1986 graduating class from Friendswood High School. Thad Roher has served as a K-12 principal in Haviland, KS, an assistant principal at Friendswood High School, an Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum for both elementary and secondary and most recently served as Deputy Superintendent in Friendswood ISD, overseeing the business operations for the district.

Roher and his wife Tina have two children. His oldest is in college at Texas A&M University and his youngest, a recent FHS graduate, will be going to the Coast Guard.
Jessica Peck, 
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Jessica Peck is an expert pediatric clinician and anti-trafficking advocate who provides innovative, visionary, and award-winning leadership to develop and lead inclusive and diverse interprofessional teams in multiple arenas to provide outcomes of high quality health care.

Dr. Peck is currently an Associate Professor of Nursing at Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, Texas. She holds active credentials as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, a Certified Nurse Educator, and a Clinical Nurse Leader. Dr. Peck has been practicing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for more than 15 years in primary care environments. Dr. Peck travels nationally to speak on the use of technology in nursing education and practice, including health impacts of social media use by teens. As both a nurse practitioner and a mother of four children under 14 years of age, she has a special interest in educating and equipping families to promote positive physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual health. She regularly writes articles for parenting magazines and is a frequent guest on radio and television to promote the health of children. Dr. Peck also works with national organizations to equip healthcare professionals to combat human trafficking of children and advocates for other vulnerable youth populations.
Tom Gates, 
Adult, Child & Adolescent Therapy

Mr. Gates graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Sociology. His professional education was at Liberty University where he received a Masters in Counseling. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor

Mr. Gates sees patients ages eight and older in individual, couples, and family psychotherapy, and uses a cognitive-behavioral therapy approach. He has been in practice for 33 years in both in-patient and out-patient care.
Brian Haynes, 
Brian serves as Lead Pastor at Bay Area Church in League City, Texas. He is a pastor, preacher, and ministry leader. His passion is to see Jesus renovate people, families, and churches in the world. Brian is the author of the books, Shift: What it Takes to Finally Reach Families Today, The Legacy Path: Discover Intentional Spiritual Parenting and coauthor of Relentless Parenting: The Crucial Pursuit of Your Teen’s Heart. Brian is married to Angela and they have three daughters, Hailey, Madelyn, and Eden.
